- When did you join Waters|Ortiz? April 2022
- Why did you choose Waters|Ortiz? I was looking for a remote accounting job, and I already had a working relationship with Roxanne, so it was a great opportunity for me to join the Waters|Ortiz team.
- What do you love most about your job/profession? I do like working remotely, but I really love working with our clients, which are mostly nonprofit organizations. Working with a variety of people with great visions that offer services and opportunities to many people is really interesting and gratifying.
- What is your specialty at Waters|Ortiz, and how do you go above and beyond to serve your clients? I specialize in nonprofit and grant accounting. Helping clients with their accounting needs is what we do, and constant communication with our clients is really one of the keys to providing the services they need.
- What book or movie do you recommend to others and why? I am a big fan of classic movies and musicals. I grew up in a very musical family, and these are movies we watched together. Some of my favorites are The Sound of Music, South Pacific, The Wizard of Oz, and Singin’ in the Rain.
- What interesting fact would you most like your readers to know about you? I homeschooled my three sons from birth through high school, and we all lived to tell about it!
- What do you enjoy doing most in your free time? Truthfully, I really need to find a hobby! We just moved to North Carolina, and I am really looking forward to finding new activities to do with family and new friends.
