  • When did you join Waters|Ortiz? May 15, 2023
  • Why did you choose Waters|Ortiz? My goals aligned with Amanda and Roxanne’s. I wanted to put my experience in non-profits to good use and make an impact with more than one organization.
  • What do you love most about your job/profession? It allows financial information to help shape the future of organizations and hopefully, avoid pitfalls.
  • What is your specialty at Waters|Ortiz, and how do you go above and beyond to serve your clients? I come with 20-plus years working in a non-profit setting. Working for non-profits has trained me to be creative in problem-solving and create efficiencies to balance deliverables with finite funds.
  • What book or movie do you recommend to others and why?  It’s OK to not be OK, a Korean Drama Series. I recommend it because it deals with compassion in dealing with individuals with special needs and how a change in perspective can change your opinion. And because it is K-Drama. I mean who doesn’t love K-Drama?
  • What interesting fact would you most like your readers to know about you? Early in my career, I worked in Beverly Hills for Financial Managers who had actors such as Brad Pitt as clients.
  • What do you enjoy doing most in your free time? Reading and tatting.
  • If there is a special photo you would like to share, please provide a copy with a brief explanation. This picture was taken in Seoul Forest Park during a recent trip to South Korea with my husband, Guilherme Pereira.
